Since I live around 140km away from were I work and travel that distance every day by train, I'm used to sit on the train one and half hours a day. But the last couple of days where just a bit too much of sitting on the train. From Sunday til now(Thursday) I've been spending 30h on the train (Kassel -> Ronneby, Ronneby -> Karlskrona, Karlskrona -> Ronneby, Ronneby -> Leinefelde, Leinefelde -> Kassel, Kassel -> Neubrandenburg)and I still have 30min to go until I reach Neubrandenburg. 6h on a avarage is just too much. Ok, I could have taken a different way to Ronneby from Kassel, but taking the train is just the easiest. For the rest of week, I guess it won't gett any better.

But next week I have to work again. So I won't have time to spend that much time on the train ;-)

Today I was in Würzburg to meet some old friends. To get from the restaurant to the station I decided to take the tram. When I started studing the Voice announcing the next station was a bit strange. It then got a lot better. Until this time. A small child voice is now announcing the next station. I don't know what the people drank WVV before taking that decision, but I guess it must have been something really good ;-) Sometimes you should try to save money at a different point.

But anyway. Sitting in a tram with awful announcement is still a lot better then walking to the train station when its raining and cold outside.

I usually play one or two rounds of crack-attack add against a friend. He was so bored when

he played against kaddy, that he created a blog entry during the game. But then life just hit back on him: 42sec untill the two evil words You Loose appeard on his screen. Usually those words only appear on my screen. And if that time doesn't tell us anything ....

I have been pretty quite this week, even if there was a lot to write about. The main reason was that I was quite busy with some activeties round the week of computer science.

On Tuesday there was a bot programing tutorial, held by kaza. Since i didn't know lua before, i was first quite confusing. This language doesn't even tell u if u call a method that does not exist. Also the methods where call like is_idle. It didn't even give me a warning when i wrote isIdle. But anyway it was quite fun.

Afterward we went to hubland bar, having some tequila. I was at home around 3. After all a nice evening.

On Wednesday we did the wlan (in)security presentation. The only problem was that my notebook doesn't like to activate its external screen without crashing. :-( So we had to work around a bit. And they said it was a bit confusing because of the many open shells. But i think after all it was ok. The rest of the evening we spend playing quake3 in the cippool. I'm so bad in this game that I even got owned by cat.

On Thursday I did a short presentation about my stay in Ronneby. It was really boaring. But anyway. Somehow this day just went by without doing much.

On Friday I just wanted to visit on presentation about ubiquitous computing. It was by held by F. Mattern from ETH. It was really nice, even if it didn't show anything new. I also tried to figure out what to tell on Tuesday for my presentation with the nice topic "MOF based modeling of abstrakte Syntaxtrees". I will post more on that later. So far so good, if i remember anything important about this week I will let u know

After some problems with incompatible transmission protocols we finally managed to successfully sniff some packages. The second problem was that tcpkill doesn't like twist hardware. So we installed it on the openwrt router. Now everything works except openvpn and ipsec. But that shouldn't be to hard to fix.

Since we where asked to present something on the security day during the week of computer since at Würzburg university, twist and I will do some presentation about wlan (in)security. Today we prepared the slides for the presentation. The presentation will be on the 25th. Tomorrow we will finish setting up the enviroment and talk to the officials. But I think it will be a fun demonstration.

Sine yesterday there where only fun activities on the schedule, the newbies from my group decided not come. So I had a free day, which I use work on the my thesis. I think that I will just design the metamodel after mof and then use xsl to transfrom it accordingly because the file format it not xmi.

Yesterday was the first day of the Introduction week for the new students. I was tutor for the newbies. We should them the campus and gave them some information we thought that it might be usefull. Today there there are some fun activities, but since all the people in my group where from outside würzburg, they decided to take a day of, giving me the possibitlity to work on my thesis.

Since everybody is blogging today, I just started my own blog. And since I'm lazy I installed wordpress as a blogging software

and now have a fully futured php/mysql blogger. I will try to figure out which nice features this software has.
